Dans le cadre Journées européennes du patrimoine et de ma thématique "Divers aspects de la ruine contemporaine" Mythologie I
Souvent j'emprunte un véhicule pour me rendre sur un site en ruine. Un jour il fallait bien que les deux se rejoignent !
Toutes deux réunies, chacune avec leur vie passée, à une étape différente de leur processus de délitement vers un retour
à la terre nourricière, qui se terminera par l'enfouissement de leur matière.
"A chacun ses ruines, chaque époque aura les siennes"
L'installation : une transplantation qui introduit à la muséification.
Pourquoi une voiture sur miroir incliné ?
Pour l'aider à se propulser vers un autre futur. Changement d'époque, avec l'objet automobile tant conspué aujourd'hui,
il fallait bien effectuer ce devoir de mémoire en évoquant la mise en représentation du véhicule lors d'un salon de l'auto,
60 années plus tard !
Pourquoi sous un baldaquin de tulle blanc ?
Pure poésie, pur effet esthétique, pour la beauté et la légèreté du mouvement prodigué par le vent si fréquent en
Charente maritime. Ressentir la caresse et le frôlement du voile sur la carrosserie usée, le voilage permet de dévoiler
sporadiquement l'auto comme dans un ballet, obligeant le spectateur à tenir son attention avec des points de vue toujours
différents.

Why under a canopy of white curtain?
Pure poetry, pure esthetic effect, for the beauty and the lightness of the breath of the wind, so frequent in Charente-Maritime. To feel the caress and the contact of the used body, the lace curtain allows to reveal the automobile as in a ballet, obliging the spectator to hold its attention with always different points of view.
